Our Team
Linda Tatlock - President - Linda was a high school teacher for 35 years. After taking early retirement as a school teacher, she decided to start a company where education could still play an important part. Linda loves dogs. As a former teacher, she empathizes with groomers: both are underpaid and overworked ! Therefore her plan is to help you obtain more money for your services and save you time. Also to provide you with excellent products, impeccable service and the latest research in skin and coat care.
Baxter Laporte - Vice-President - Baxter was a management consultant for Price Waterhouse and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. Baxter also loves dogs and has noticed that most families everywhere have some kind of pet. After “retirement”, Arizona became his home and Iv San Bernard became his “pet”.
Michelle Knowles - Skin & Coat Consultant - Michelle has apprenticed, volunteered, managed, owned and worked in salons, kennels, zoos, and veterinary hospitals across the country. A professional pet stylist with 20 years in the field, Michelle has extensive experience with fear and trauma recovery, elderly pet care, and specializes in managing allergic and dermatological disorders. Certified by the National Dog Groomers Association of America and ISB, Michelle is also a skin and coat consultant for Iv San Bernard in the North American region.
Melanie Davies - Consultant - Melanie started her career in advertising, is certified as an aromamassage therapist, but grooming has been her love for the past 9 years. She owns one of the top grooming salons and grooming school in Toronto. She trained one on one in Guelph with the Certified Master Groomer Diana Stahle, the founder of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association. Six months after graduating, she placed 3rd in a national competition with a bichon. This year, she was invited to participate in a training session at the Iv San Bernard Scuola di Toelettatura (grooming academy) in Italy where she worked with some of the top groomers in Europe. She is very knowledgeable in the science of grooming, she has a great sense of humor and she is a master at retailing. She is capable of answering all your questions about dog care.
